Join NSDOG and our hosts at the Walker River State Recreation Area for a Dutch Oven demonstration on Saturday, June 13, 2020, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Take in the vistas of Nevada’s newest state park while learning the basics of Dutch oven cooking from our seasoned instructors. Dutch oven favorites including chili, cornbread and peach cobbler will be demonstrated and available for guests to sample – so bring your appetites!

The demonstration will be held at the Day Use Group Area. Signage will direct guests to the group area. A $5.00 per vehicle entrance fee is required. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and beverages.

Join NSDOG and the park staff at Washoe Lake State Park for its annual Dutch Oven class on Saturday, July 25, 2020, 4 p.m. Р8 p.m., in the Equestrian Group Area. Seasoned instructors will guide class participants to make a variety of dishes in Dutch ovens. The evening culminates with a group dinner of the prepared dishes.
